So, I’m going to discuss some stuff about the site and well… about me as well. Just a simple brief introduction, nothing too extensive– but with me, you never know. Okay, let’s begin.

About “Thoughts…That Fill Your Mind…”

The original launch date of this site was recently; mid-2008, however the original concept of this idea and its launch date was December 27, 2006. It started off as a regular site on FREEWEBS, but as time passed I realized that I couldn’t keep up with the constant layout renovation and multiple page editing, so I decided to use a MySpace then a LiveJournal. The MySpace page I continually use, however all the blog posts remain on this site. The MySpace page is simply an extension of this site– MySpace is for further friend development. However, the LiveJournal page is rarely used, but it, too, is used as friend development.

This site is simply used for my personal writings; poetry, stories, random blogging. Everything here is original, unless stated otherwise, and should not be redistributed, reproduced in anyway or claimed as their own because I will not tolerate it. About redistribution and reproduction will be explained here.

This site will contain things other people may not agree with, such as femmeslash/slash and my views. As said on the frontpage, femmeslash/slash deal with gay themes so I advise you to avoid those if you are offended by such things or leave all together. My views are very open and can be assertive or aggressive, depending on the mood I’m in when I’m writing the post, so be warned. If you are opposed to my views, I welcome friendly debate, but if the debate goes out of hand and leads to complete and utter ignorance… that’s the end of that. I do not tolerate bashing, flaming or anything of that kind because that’s simply childish.

Finally, anything here– “Copyright infringement is not intended.” If there is something here that is yours, please do e-mail me and say so. We will discuss what I’ve done, but please do not sue considering this is simply a small site extending my opinion and my work.

The inspiration for the webname and the layout

The webnames, ‘AlexRiley’ and “Thoughts… That Fill Your Mind…”, are really made up. If anyone thinks that I am the BBC 7 Presenter “Alex Riley”… that’s not me. For one, I’m not a guy and I’m not from Europe. ‘AlexRiley’ came across to me when I made up a character for a story called ‘Riley Alexander’ and I ended up typing AlexRiley ever since because I thought it sounded better than ‘RileyAlex’. ‘AlexRiley’ has ever since become my username for everything, so by any chance you’ve seen AlexRiley anywhere on the net with relatively the same e-mail address below, that probably is me. Now, as for “Thoughts…” I made up that on the spot because I really didn’t want to overuse the name ‘AlexRiley’ as a site, so I decided on “Thoughts…” because I thought that if this site/ blog is going to be used for my personal writings, I believed that what I would write may end up being things people thought about and these thoughts may be things that float in peoples’ minds, hence “Thoughts… That Fill Your Mind…”

About the Maker

Okay, since the site is out of the way, let’s talk about me! Yeah… let’s briefly talk about me. So, as you can tell, I like to be referred to as AlexRiley. Some of my online friends already call me Alex despite knowing my real name. I am a girl… if you did not get that from the whole spiel up there about me not being a guy OR if you haven’t seen my MySpace page. I’m Canadian… Asian (Kind of obvious if you know me or have seen my MySpace page). I am forever in love with music, I usually have music playing all day (even in classes, I’m not for discreetly having an earbud on while the teacher is talking) and because of my love for music, I’ve taken up guitar and piano. Yeah, I think that’s enough about me.
