“I ran from you…”

I ran away from you,
but you ran with me to.
I thought that you would let me go,
but you didn’t, heck no.
You made me stop running,
and looked me in the eye with your eyes, so stunning.
I couldn’t help wonder why you were here,
so close to me so near.
I didn’t think that you would stay,
with all I had to say.
I never did want you to leave,
so I end up holding onto your sleeve.
I feel like a little child,
all vulnerable and mild.
Hoping that you will hold me,
like I hold thee.
Then you say
‘I love You and I will
Never Leave, not now, not ever,’
and you heard me say
‘I love you too, I will never leave, together forever.’
