“What I Need Is You”

So I think about you so many times,
And I don’t know what to do.
You’re worth more than pennies and dimes,
And I bet you think that too.

There’s so much I want to talk about,
But we’re so different there’s no way to communicate.
I just want to scream and shout,
But that just makes my heart and soul ache.

Status keeps us departed,
And there’s nothing I can do about it.
You are so close to me; so deep hearted,
But I know in your heart I can’t fit.

I always think about you and me,
But you don’t even know who I am.
I wish that you could see,
But then who would give a damn.

It’s not like we’ll ever meet,
But I wish that we could truly talk.
I want you to know how my heart continues to beat,
Everytime you sing, talk, move and walk.

It’s as if you complete my soul,
And diminish all sadness from this life.
It’s surreal to be with you as a whole,
And it cuts my heart like a knife.

Right now I wish you could see this too…
